Service Statement

We provide cleaning supplies and vacuums.  We do have clients that prefer that we use their supplies and vacuums and we are happy to do that, too.   If you have circumstances that need special products we would ask the client to provide those products.

Our policy is to make an appointment with our clients and set up a cleaning schedule.  We will call you the day before and remind you of your cleaning and approximate time we will be there (if you are one of our “once in a while” client we will contact you a week in advance).  Because of weather and traffic conditions we do not guarantee our arrival time.  Because we are a family owed business, we may need to reschedule your cleaning appointments.  We will try to contact you far in advance as possible, and make other arrangements.  We also know you are a family and sometimes you need to reschedule.  We would like to have a 48-hour notice of cancellation in order for us to work someone else in.  We have a $50 cancellation fee for notices less than 48 hours.  If we can reschedule you or make other arrangements then we may reconsider this fee.

If you provide us a key to your house, or give us a code to enter your house, Robin’s Nest keeps them under our control at all times and kept in a lockbox. Only my co-worker,___________________ will have access to this information.  We do not put addresses on our key chains. Your personal information is kept on file at Robin’s Nest and is never given out to anyone without your permission.

As a family business, sometimes Robin’s Nest will close for holidays or family time.  We will provide a written notice placed within your house (usually in the same place where you leave payment.), in advance as a courtesy to our clients.

For yours and our safety, we would like to be notified if someone is working in your home during the same time we are cleaning. We will not answer the door or your phone during the time we are in your house unless you tell us that you are expecting someone.. Please let us know if something is not working properly so can leave it alone until fixed.

 

Rates and Billing

Our rates are set to your housecleaning needs.  We charge by the house.  We ask that you pay either by check, cash or auto bill pay. We request payment when services are rendered.  If payment is mailed, it must be received within 5 working days.  If check is returned for non-payment we will access a $30 charge for each returned check (that’s the fee imposed on us by our bank).  We will gladly provide receipts upon request.

Occasionally we barter for services. Bartering is one-way communities and small businesses can help one another. Please, feel free to ask

We do ask our clients for contracts.  But, we would like the respect of you as a client and our schedule, so we all can work together as a team.  Feel free to ask if we can provide a better service for you
